I don't usually review safelist, but this one is really something. Why? I will tell you in a bit. Read my review below to get the answer.
If you need another source of traffic that is cheap and decent enough, Mailer.Gold might just be what you are looking for. Let's dive in!
What Is Mailer.Gold?
In short, this is a safelist. A brand new safelist created less than a year ago by Frank Bauer & Clinton Clark. These two are veterans in the safelist world and they have built many other safelist and traffic exchange site like ViralURL, InfinityTrafficBoost, LeasedAdSpace, etc.
Like any other safelist, you can send email broadcast to other members. They have 2 types of members: Free Silver member and Paid Lifetime Gold. This is where it becomes interesting.
Right now since the overall member is less than 2K, you can upgrade to Gold Lifetime with just $16.07 one time only (this is the price at the time this review is written). It will increase $0.01 for every new upgrade. So let say you join at $16.07, then the next member will have $16.08 for the upgrade price.
Their goal is to build a paid membership of 10,000+ members and 100,000's of free members. The first 2,000 members will get a LIFETIME membership with the ability to mail to all members, free and paid, for life.
The next 2,000 members will be able to purchase Annual memberships for no more than $27.80 - with hundreds able to buy for MUCH less than $27.80 - depending on how quick they take action (this is taken from the sales page).

What Makes Mailer.Gold Different Than Other Safelist?
Other than the basic mailing feature (once every 7 days for Free Silver member and once every 3 days for Lifetime Gold member), they also have Message Center where you can see the stats of the last 200 emails sent by other members. There are Open Rank, Click Rank, and Comment Rank.

You can click on a message, and then you will see all details as well as what other members liked as well as didn't like about it. You can even leave your own feedback or receive 30 Mailing Credits by visiting any URL in the message for at least 10 seconds.
Your own messages will be highlighted in blue and messages you read and clicked in the past are highlighted in red. Take a look at what other members like and don't like about your message, answer their questions and improve your results.
I have never seen this on any other safelist before. With this feature, you can learn from others about they like or don't like from emails you sent out and also see other member's email so you can learn to improve your own email copy. I think this is simply a genius idea!
Another feature that are also notable are text ads and banner ads. As Lifetime Gold member you can add 5 for each of them to get extra eyeballs to your offer. There are also Guaranteed Visitor (which you can purchase or you can convert them with click credits) and Downline Builder (other safelists/traffic exchange that you can join for free).
How Much Does Mailer.Gold Cost?
As explained above, there are 2 types of membership: Free Silver and Paid Lifetime Gold. Right now the cost for Lifetime Gold upgrade is $16.07. Here are the difference between both membership:

Now I will tell you why this safelist is special. Like many other safelists, I use up the free mailing feature to see if this is worth it or not. Another thing I want to mention here is that besides you can save your email template, you can also see the stats like open rate and click rate for each email you sent.
Even bigger and older safelist like Herculist did not have this feature! It may sound simple, but if you can track your email copy performance, you can tweak the headline and the body copy and test it again to know the winner. As an email copywriter myself, this is very important to do.
The second time I sent out my email, *unexpectedly* I get ONE sale and I saw the stats are looking quite good for me (open rate and click rate). You may say it's just a beginner luck or something, but I can smell something delicious is being cooked here! (and it will feed hungry marketers :D)
It may be a premonition, maybe the stars are aligned or something lol, but that result give me a conviction to take action and upgrade myself to Lifetime Gold member. Funny thing is, after I did that and I create a short review on LeadsLeap, I got another sale and this time it's for Lifetime Gold upgrade!
The day after that, I got another Lifetime Gold upgrade as well (that can't be a coincidence, right?). I can only say that I am glad I follow my gut feeling 🙂

Sept 3, 2023 Update: I now made $39.03 since I joined at August 16. That means I made 4 Lifetime Gold sales in just around 2 weeks! Not bad for a new safelist, right? 🙂
